Your data.
Award Season stores league names, membership, display names, ballots, predictions, results, and organizer activity in its hosted Cloudflare D1 database. Predictions are associated with a stable account identifier so they remain available across devices.
Account access
Sign-in is handled by the configured provider: OpenAI for ChatGPT sign-in, or Supabase for Google sign-in. The site receives your account identifier, email, and optionally your display name after sign-in. It does not receive your password. Email is not stored in the game database or included in leaderboards. Choose a display name you want other league members to see.
Who can see what
The website is public. League data requires signed-in league membership. Other league members can see your display name and scores, but the game API returns only your own predictions. Organizers manage ballots and can see recent organizer activity. A shared invite code or link lets a signed-in person join that league.
Official nominations and artwork
A shared public nomination catalog is stored in Supabase and checked against official sources. Artwork may load from the credited award organization, studio, artist, production, or image host. Image requests omit the page referrer. Private league records and predictions are not shared with image hosts.
Controls
You can export your predictions and league scoreboards, update your display name, and leave a league. Leaving removes your membership and predictions from that league. Organizers must transfer ownership before leaving. Signing out ends your access on the current browser; it does not delete your records.
Cookies and reliability
Authentication cookies are managed by the sign-in provider. When Supabase sign-in is enabled, its client stores and refreshes the login session in this browser. Browser storage also remembers your selected league. A short-lived request counter limits repeated write requests. Organizer activity is retained to help explain result and ownership changes.
